Catherine Nwah, NP

Catherine Nwah, PMHNP-BC, DNP, is a highly trained psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing at Amazing Behavioral Health Services, LLC, in Parkville and Catonsville, Maryland. She has more than two decades of nursing experience. 

Dr. Nwah received her associate's degree in nursing from Queen Elizabeth School of Nursing in Umuahia, Nigeria, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. 

She obtained a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) credential from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Nwah values continuing education and always strives to stay current on the latest advances in mental health care. She offers in-person and virtual comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. Dr. Nwah is a member of the Maryland Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.

She enjoys improving the mental health and quality of life of patients of all ages and their families and compassionately welcomes them to Amazing Behavioral Health Services, LLC.
